Disclaimer
Effective: April 30, 2026 | Operator: Q Signals (sole proprietorship, Massachusetts)
Q Signals (the "Service") is currently operated as a sole proprietorship based in Massachusetts and provides public market-research tools, analytics, and educational content. The Service is not a broker, investment adviser, financial planner, futures commission merchant, or registered investment company. This Disclaimer is incorporated into the Terms of Service and should be read together with the Risk Disclosure and Privacy Policy.
Read this first. Q Signals publishes market commentary and educational research. Nothing on this site is personalized investment advice. Q Signals is NOT a registered investment adviser (RIA) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any state securities regulator, or any equivalent foreign regulator. We have no fiduciary duty to any user. We do not know your financial situation, risk tolerance, tax position, time horizon, or investment objectives, and we do not tailor any content to them. You are solely responsible for every trading decision you make and for every dollar you risk.
What Q Signals is
Q Signals is a research and analytics platform that publishes market commentary, technical observations, model outputs, scoring, and educational content about publicly traded securities, ETFs, options structures, and macro conditions. Our content is general in nature, intended for an audience of self-directed traders and investors, and is published in the same posture as financial newsletters, market-commentary blogs, and trading-education sites.
What Q Signals is NOT
- Q Signals is not a registered investment adviser under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or under any state securities law.
- Q Signals is not a broker-dealer, custodian, clearing firm, or transfer agent. We do not hold customer funds, do not execute trades, and do not have access to user brokerage accounts.
- Q Signals is not a financial planner or tax adviser.
- Q Signals does not have a fiduciary duty to any user.
- Q Signals does not issue personalized investment recommendations of any kind.
Bullish, Bearish, Neutral, Watch — labels are commentary, not instructions
Throughout the site you will see signals labeled Bullish, Bearish, Neutral, or Watch. These labels reflect our model's reading of market conditions, technical structure, and aggregated module scores at the moment of publication. They are commentary about what the chart and the data appear to show — they are NOT instructions to buy, sell, hold, or avoid any security. Our internal terminology may at times reference action enums (BUY / SELL / HOLD) for engineering and database purposes; on every user-facing surface those terms are translated to commentary labels precisely because we are not in the business of instructing trades.
No personalized investment advice
Nothing on Q Signals constitutes personalized investment advice, a solicitation, an offer, or a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or avoid any security, option, ETF, futures contract, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. The fact that a signal, score, price target, stop level, hold-duration estimate, options structure, or chat-agent response appears on the site does not make it a recommendation to act. Every piece of content must be evaluated independently by the user, and where appropriate, with a licensed professional who knows the user's specific circumstances.
Chat agents and AI commentary
The Q Signals chat agents (Q, Delta, Merlin, Lao-Tzu, Elliott, and any future agents) are AI personalities that produce market commentary. They are not investment advisers, are not licensed, may make mistakes, may hallucinate, and may be wrong. They are explicitly instructed to use commentary language ("I read this bullish", "the chart leans bearish", "consider downside protection") rather than instructional language ("buy here", "go long"), but you should treat every output from these agents as commentary only — never as a directive.
Model and data limitations
Signals, scores, targets, backtests, options recommendations, and reinforcement-learning outputs depend on third-party data sources, model assumptions, historical observations, and inferred market structure. Those inputs may be incomplete, delayed, noisy, stale, or wrong. A result shown on the site can change as new data arrives or as outcome windows settle. Identical inputs may produce different outputs at different times due to model updates, data revisions, or stochastic components.
No guarantees, past performance is not future results
Past performance, signal hit rates, target-hit statistics, win rates, alpha versus benchmarks, and backtest outputs do not guarantee future results. Markets are non-stationary, regimes change, liquidity dries up, correlations break, and historical edges decay. Any number you see on the site — including hit rate, win rate, accuracy percentage, ROI, or alpha — could be lower or higher tomorrow, and could be substantially worse in your live trading than in our published statistics.
Risk of loss
Trading and investing in securities, options, futures, and cryptocurrencies involves substantial risk, including the risk of total loss of capital. Options and leveraged instruments can lose 100% of their value rapidly. Short positions and short options strategies can lose more than the initial capital committed. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
User responsibility
You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, trading activity, position sizing, risk management, tax treatment, regulatory compliance, account-level due diligence, and broker selection. If you need personalized financial guidance, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction. By using Q Signals you acknowledge and accept that all content is general commentary and that you, and you alone, bear the consequences of any action you take in your brokerage or trading account.
External services and advertising
Q Signals may reference third-party providers, market data services, brokers, analytics platforms, or advertising partners. Their availability and behavior are outside our control. Any ad, affiliate link, or mention on the site is not an endorsement of a financial product or strategy.
Jurisdiction
Q Signals is operated from the United States. Content is intended for an audience capable of evaluating it independently. If your jurisdiction prohibits or restricts access to general market commentary, do not use the site.
